At the end of January 2009 BAK brought its logistic assistance to two entomologists (a Canadian and a Congolese) who came to study the dung beetles of Katanga. Dr Bruce Gill studies populations of beetles feeding on feces left by animal populations and gets information on these animal populations from the insects present. This scientist comes back in Katanga at the end of the year and BAK is thinking of starting a collaboration with him. |
