Description :   Resembles the african striped cuckoo biut has white belly and throat and lack dark stripes. Has a hoopoe and white spots on the wings. 
     
Habitat :   This migratory birds arrives in Katanga during the rainy season. This corresponds to the abundance of insects which the cuckoo feeds on. This bird is called by the Bemba "the one who calls the rain", which demonstrates the sense of observation of villagers.
