First pictures of elephants in Katanga in many years date : 04/07/2007     Today, we received some pictures of elephants that were taken at the limit of the Upemba Park. BAK had handed out a digital camera to the agents participating in the expulsion of these elephants raving in inhabited zones and damaging the cultures. We are waiting for the CICN (Congolese Institution for the Conservation of Nature) report concerning this campaign of expulsion and hoping that no animal was shot.
