Description :   This wooded savannas' bird is distinguished by its orange eye and its smaller size. Belly and flanks are magenta.  
     
Habitat :   Miombo, it is common in Katanga.  
     
Behaviour :   Its call is more happy and less noisy than that of its cousins. Move in flicks looking for swarms of insects but also feeds on fruits.  
     
Diet :   Insects and fruits.  
     
Life history :   Here, nidification takes place in September and October.
