Description :   Distinguished from Groundscraper Thrush by the white wing bars and more brown upperparts.  
Habitat :   Only one capture known of this bird inhabiting Malawi and South Africa. October 1973 at Lusinga, Upemba park.  
Behaviour :   Litlle is known about this mainly terrestrial bird.

Life history :   In South Africa this bird likes humid forests along streams. Nests in the beginning of the rainy season.
